Purchase, NY (Oct. 14, 2014) Purchase freshman Clive Griffiths has been named the Skyline Conference men's cross country Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. Griffiths (Bronx, NY), honored by the conference for the first time in his career, finished 83rd overall in a field of 388 runners to lead the Panthers to a 24th-place finish at the James Early Invitational hosted by Westfield State on Saturday. He navigated the eight-kilometer course in 28:14.39.
